Anyway, we will be recording 10 or 11 songs.  We haven’t decided the format or who will be helping us put the album out, if anybody. Those are all just little details.

Look at this fine specimen of bass playing material.  Mr. William Frith has begun grinding out bass lines with beautiful simplicity for the teeth.   We are exicted about new material and creative direction he has brought as well.  Soon you shall see his elegance grace the stage with us, though this event will more than likely have to wait until after the new year as we write new songs.

In the meantime,  go see a rad show and support the newly sprouting Olympia All Ages Project!

We’re going through a few changes right now. Changes in the line-up and changes to some of our old songs. We “will” keep you posted.

We have 8 songs towards our new album and are expecting to record in late November, but were are hoping for two, if not three more songs.  We’re all excited about the new material and feel that we are starting to have our own sound, rather than a wash of influences.  The newer material seems darker and not as edgy, but still rough on all sides with moments of beauty.  Energy has definitely remained the vanguard of our style, but in a cloud of polyrhythms.

We played another Voyeur show in Olympia.  This time with Octagon Control from Bellingham and once again with Shearing Pinx from Vancouver, B.C.  Super fun night overall, though the heads were far and few because of Japanther playing the Hall of the Woods the same night.  It didn’t bother us much. Though Shearing Pinx may have felt differently since they sat in the other room while Octagon Control opened and while we closed.

Super early show. Like 6:30pm, but we showed up early, set up and proceeded to melt faces.

The turn out was slim, but a summer house show with the garage door rolled up was well worth the effort, especially with the sun sneaking inside.

Joey Casio was awesome too.

We have shows coming up these next few months with some rad bands, like Shearing Pinx, Eats Tapes, Joey Casio and our favs, the Jettycats.

Our tour dates are confirmed. Note to self. Don’t plan a tour the week after SXSW. Besides this tour being very difficult to book because of bad timing and bad luck, we now realize that most bands don’t want to play a week after blowing all their money going to Austin and back. We have definitely learned from this extravaganza, but it’s not holding us back. We have 10 days with 9 shows booked, long stretches of driving in between and the only Italian any of us know are the numbers 1 through 10. Should prove to be very interesting.

Anyway, Suzanne’ Silver is flying over from Siracusa, Sicily, Italy to share this tour with us and we hope to show them good time. Check out the tour schedule on the shows page and hopefully we will see you out and about.
